ART STUDIO in the heart of St. Petersburg Florida
In 2024, after an inspiring trip to Athens and Venice, as part of my PhD pursued residency with IDSVA, I opened my art studio in the heart of one of St. Pete’s art districts. It is a wonderful space where I can teach, create and collaborate. If you’d like to get together and learn about my creative process, feel free to reach out.

A FEW WORDS
ABOUT ME AND MY WORK
If you are looking for artwork that blends the enchantment of storytelling, the elegance of natural hues, and the allure of cultural heritage, welcome, friend!
I began my artistic education in the culturally rich environment of St. Petersburg, Russia. This experience immersed me in a unique blend of European modernity and aesthetics of Eastern European heritage, shaping my artistic perspective and fostering a deep appreciation for diverse forms of expression.
Upon relocating to St. Petersburg, Florida, I studied under Dr. Rose Marie Prins, rediscovering and refining my artistic voice. My work spans various mediums, including oil, acrylics, and mixed media, with an exploration into photography.
In my academic research I explore the relations between art and politics.
Artistic Inspirations and Themes
In my visual art, I draw inspiration from the aesthetic philosophy of Andrei Tarkovsky, particularly his notions of time, memory, and history. My work also reflects a fascination with Byzantine traditions and modern and contemporary photography. I am deeply interested in the political art of resistance, exploring themes that challenge societal norms and advocate for change. My paintings often delve into historical narratives, architectural forms, and human actions.
My photography captures the essence of time and its passage. The imagery invites viewers to immerse themselves in scenes inspired by my travels across Southeast Asia, North Africa, and Europe, often highlighting the beauty and complexity of ancient civilizations and indigenous traditions. I am particularly passionate about cross-cultural collaborations, using my work to bridge different cultural perspectives and cultivate a greater understanding between diverse communities.
Exhibitions and Recognitions
My artwork has been exhibited at various venues in the Tampa Bay area, including the Carrollwood Cultural Center, Morean Arts Center, Davidson Fine Art Gallery, Gallery 221 HCC, Project G.O.A.T. Superbowl Charity Event, Gilbert Chapel Gallery, and The Vinoy® Renaissance Resort & Golf Club.
